Jinterview

Ask and Ye shall receive. I solicited Jin of the fabulous foodblog Jintrinsique to send some interview questions and she graciously humored me. Here are her questions and my responses (as if you didn't have enough useless information thrown at you in the course of a day).....

1. What is the secret to the universe?

A few months ago, in an effort to find the answer to this very question, I created a miniature, exact replica of the entire universe in my basement. It took quite a lot of duct tape, I can assure you. I was having a grand old time, watching the movements of my galactic model when I noticed, much to my dismay, that the Earth had been destroyed by an errant cometoid sometime around year 2066. I can only hope that there was some flaw in the construction of my simulation, but I had to destroy it before something terrible happened to the moon as well. The loss of Luna would be unbearable. I deduced, however, that the secret to the universe must be duct tape.

2. What did you think of the woodchipper scene in Fargo?

I have never attempted to reproduced the woodchipper scene. It's been a bad year for cadavers.

3. You suggest that you are looking for a job with "Low responsibility. Big pay." When you finally secure that position are you going to have them hire me as well?

I'll have my people contact your people, and if there are any people left over, we'll hire them too.

4. Vinyl...
Best as:
records
pants or
restaurants?

First, you melt your old records into vinyl pants. Then you run through a cactus field and listen to the music your clothing makes. Then you go for lunch at that groovie establishment you mentioned.

5. I still haven't been able to figure this out so maybe you can shed some light. Why do you intrigue me so much?

It's the medication (mine). 90% of the mass of the universe is unaccounted for. Some researchers believe this missing "dark matter" might be something like chocolate.

So, there you have it. Thanks to Jin for conducting this Jinterview. Make sure you check out her blog. It’s well worth the trip!

Brilliant! :-D

Duct tape...I had no idea! I promise to use this information for the ultimate good of mankind & will not sell it for coffee beans and/or chocolate. Well, I'll try not to anyway.....

Thanks for playing!

One last question - is it better to be a rock star, porn star, sport star or one of those my-daddy-is-rich-and-I've-been-arrest-for-DUI-type stars?

It's better to be Ringo Star.
